Why are you doing this?
Sickpuppy picked this device up for Father Spoon as a bachelor party gift. Father Spoon promised him that someday he would sacrifice his good taste and take one for the team in the name of science. Most of your top shelf liquor meets certain high standards by either how it’s distilled or the purification/filteration methods used. Now you may have also heard of this being done with a Brita. While true that it does work, getting this many Britas to do the task of one GK is very costly. On SIDT, we use the GK and cheap bottles of liquor to see if the GK lives up to it’s name.
Did that first batch come out black?
Learn by trial and error. Yes the first batch did come out black. It wasn’t in the directions so remember ALWAYS RINSE YOUR GK FIRST BEFORE USING! Sickpuppy emailed the Gray Kangaroo team and they said “Yea, that happens for the first bottle, especially if you don’t rinse it first. Don’t worry the vodka is fine.”
Who are you guys?
These experiments are being done by members of Should I Drink That (SIDT). We’re just a group of friends whom have alot of time on our hands.
