Phil - Thanks buddy! Oh man what a great place. What really adds to the experience too is that Phill is an awesome dude and his staff is uber friendly unlike other places we've gone where the owners yell and scream at workers and customers. This is a well deserved title.

Bill - If you think that was fun wait until you hear the actual beer fest! Sickpuppy has his hands full on that one. Phill's wife was there with us doing it and no one got hurt, well that I know of. We worked out a couple deals with VE to do quite a few things. Keep watching for details.

I would LOVE to go to Southern Tier! You are a lucky man!

You guys sounded like you were having way too much fun. Wish now that I'd gone to the fest on my own, since I couldn't get any of my wet rag friends to accompany me. Not sure if Phil's wife will appreciate that you taught Phil the official SIDT toast. I do think you should consider moving studio A to VE, if only for the inspiration. A mead ep. could be interesting if you include braggot, melomel, metheglin and pyment. I've heardthat a mead bender (hangover) is the worst you can have, so be forewarned.

Going on a tour of Southern Tier on the 22nd along with members of my homebrew club (Little Mountain Home Brew Ass'n. - LMHBA). We've rented a 15 passenger van and have a driver - might stop at U Pick 6 on the way home.

Cheers

Happy Anniversary guys! Four years is a nice long time to have a show. Wishing you many more years of drinking it so we don't have to!

Phill sounds like a great guy, and he's running a top notch operation there at Vintage Estate. Love that they're the #1 beer store in the world. I've been to places I would consider "Beer Heaven" many times, but this sounds like the holy grail.

Never have warmed up to mead. Tried a wide variety of them, and none have ever done it for me. Beer/Wine I can totally do. But mead is not for me. I do appreciate that homebrewers and professional brewers are so into it. It has to be the respect they have for the history of brewing.

It was so funny when you guys said that every time you see VE, you think "Vertical Epic" because that was EXACTLY what I thought when I saw it. Then again when I saw it the second time. :-)
