The Framboise is a personal favorite of mine!! LOVE IT!! Dave swore he’d find a beer that I would like …. and he did!! But, at our house, it isn’t technically beer… I guess it’s because it’s fruity and tastes NOTHING like beer.
Hope you guys are well!! : )
This show sounded painful.
Why do you torment yourselves with beers like this? I like a lot of Lambics, but I absolutely cannot stand mead. It’s just not for me – not at all. I can’t understand the attraction to it.
Whoever it was who said “Chloroseptic” was bang on with the last sour lambic you had. I brewed a Flanders Red once and just before it started to turn into a sour brown, it hit the “Chloroseptic” end of the rectum (spectrum) and it was really hard to handle. Some need to age longer than others.
You really do drink it so we don’t have to.
Emilie, you can have all of the lambics you want. Please take them!
Phil, that was a rough show. I’ve never had in between tasting Mead. Either it’s good or it sucks. If puppy would have heated the one up and added the spices he might have gotten a boot to the head.
Well, now that I know that you both like lambics so well, it will be easier for me to come up with
my next ‘chug challenge’. And I thought it was going to be hard to improve on the Chelada Chug!
I’ll have to do some research … wait for it!
Bill, already been done

“Whoever it was who said “Chloroseptic” was bang on with the last sour lambic you had”
Great, what do I win?!
Really, the taste closely resembled Chloroseptic. It was just awful stuff. Fortunately, we washed it down with the Valley Vineyard mead.
You’re right Fr. Spoon … and my comment is right at the top of the list. How could I forget that.
Sickpuppy seemed to enjoy it so much. Rats … now I’ll have to think of another idea for a chug.
I should be able to think of one by the time of the BrewErie Fest in April, which I assume you
guys will be attending. I can bring the chug challenge brew, and a bottle of the IPA I just brewed,
which should be drinking fine by that time. I will probably bottle this weekend. 75+ IBU @ 7.5 %abv.
Wort tasted good, so hoping the final result will be great. I’ll sneak a taste of the uncarbonated
beer when I bottle and have a better idea of how its coming along.
Cheers
I won’t be up there. Busy having a kid that month
I assume that your ‘better half’ will be having the kid, and YOU will be doing a video
of Jr. Spoon’s arrival into the world. Gees … last year it was a wedding which kept
you and Sickpuppy from the fest … this year it’s a kid! Life happens!
Oh damn, Lambics! While I appriciate the craft,I put lambics in the same category with Wine Coolers. I call that category “Sh1t I would drink before Drano……Maybe.”
Brad…
That is nuts man… you are crazy my man…. When are you going to do a show on miller lite and molson candian.. me and millroy can be guests….
