Guys the Tookie Show was my favorite too! My experience with Dirty O's was in the 70's pre-40's. Pink Champale and Schlitz Malt Liquor Bull were the bombers for the brothers back then.Keep up the good work, you've kept me laughing during my soon to end tour in Iraq and I even picked up a sampler of Great Lakes beer and got a taste for a couple of them while home on leave. Not bad for a stadium beer swiller.........Hey Sick Puppy....did you get hurt greasing on that shotglass ?

Thanks for the link, Spoon! I'll check that out. I'd be interested to see what kinds of German & Polish places you find. I'm sure there's a ton of great food out there. Out here it's mostly Mexican & Asian - very few European restaurants.

Thanks Phil! Yeah you can tell we're not Spanish influenced. We had fun decorating and getting props for this show and yes, sickpup was taking that thing from behind. It was an interesting night that's for sure but we did get a lot of useful Cindo de Mayo information out to everyone.

For me, I'm not a huge Mexican fan but Lushie has been craving it big time. She drives me nuts when we go out to eat at one of these places and we'll come home with 3 containers of food left over. The best italian comes from those hole in the wall mom and pop places. I'd like to find a good German or Polish place to eat around Pittsburgh. Though I have to laugh when I look back at growing up in Erie and the establishments I'd frequent. I swear everything is deep fried! I do have a soft spot for greek dogs when I go back home though.

The song is called "the whoa zone instrumental for themes - live" and I got it from http://music.podshow.com/ They have some funky stuff you might like.

Happy Anniversary, vatos. Much like 99% of all Mexican beer, your Spanish sucks, but the show was still fun to listen to.

The pictures that accompany this episode were hilarious - maybe your best yet. One question, though. Is Sick Puppy taking the piñata from behind? If so, please don't hang that thing up for the kids. What a surprise that would be.

Great point you made about Mexican restaurants - even if it's not always the case. Where I live, we have really authentic Mexican food, and more Mexican restaurants than I care to mention. The best of these restaurants have an all Mexican Spanish-speaking staff, and more importantly - not a chain. The food that is the most authentic is usually from Mom & Pop places - Jose's Taco's, or Anita's Mexican Food. They're holes in the wall, and they've been making the same food for years. They do it to death, so they're really freakin' good at it. By the same token, the best Italian food does not come from the Olive Garden - no offense to anyone.

I dig the ending music from the Tequila Mockingbirds. What's the name of that song? I'll get it from the iTunes store. Love that instrumental stuff.
