CRAP is down to contribute to the SIDT album.
Bring it on dude, we’ll take all the talent we can get and feature the songs on our show!
CHEERS!
Somehow i knew that Sorg would be the first one to step up to the plate for us!
Great to hear that you guys are getting back into home brewing. It’s the hobby that continues to give back more and more.
Spoon, it’s Oscar Season. Why do you go to stupid-assed popcorn movies like National Treasure 2? If you’re going to endure the HELL that is the theater, at least see something worth watching. And dude, you’re dead on with the rant about commercials before the movie. It’s not bad enough that they’re making us pay $8 or $9 for a matinée, but we have to sit through commercials and 20 trailers too? This is why I say buy the biggest screen you can afford, hook up a decent sound system, and wait for the DVD.
For the record, Dude Night knows the middle of America. We’re from there originally, remember.
Ten Fidy is the BOMB. I wasn’t surprised to find out that you guys liked it too. Especially Spoon. I know he likes it in the can.
Clarke, I didn’t think the movie was THAT bad. It was the experience while there that took away from it. My other option is to drive 40 minutes, sit in traffic on 2 parkways and then get stuck in a parking lot for 20 minutes only to do it again when we leave or go to the place 5 minutes away. I should have hit the state store before going in.
I LOVE it in the can. don’t you forget it
Just wanted to drop in and say fuck the drink tax.
Yo!
Another enjoyable episode. Have to agree with you on the Dreadnaught … mediocre at best. At $10 a bomber, I’d rather get 2 Stone Ruinations for the same money. Can’t comment on the Oskar Blues, as they don’t seem to distribute to Ohio … yet. Besides, I already have picked out my 3 favorite 3 Russian Imperials: Stone Imperial Russian Stout, Victory Storm King, Great Lakes Blackout Stout. (and I can get all three easily!)
Since you are both getting into home brewing, we’ll have more to chat about at the BrewErie MicroBrew fest come April 19th. I don’t brew myself, but am a student of homebrewing (meaning I’ve studied the process extensively, should I ever decide I need yet another hobby).
I’m still working on Fr. Spoon’s challenge. It will involve fresh hops and beer … and perhaps a ‘frisky’ Irish drinking song.
Sickpuppy, I used to do a lot of I.T., but now earn my beer money as a Sr. Electronic Technician. I don’t have to deal with morons who should be using paper and pencil instead of a computer any more! (I’m sure you know the type)
Cheers from Madison, OH.
Bill
Norm, you need to address it on your podcast
I want to hear StromHuelsman’s view!
Bill, I love the Stone Russian Imperial. Pairs up well when I have the grill cookin up steaks.
Don’t get too greedy on the hops now. Remember, we have a shortage going on! Well OK, as long as I’m drinking them and not doing some weird Fear Factor thing.
We’ve got it marked on our schedule so as long as work permits we should be in Erie for it!
cheers buddy!
Hey guys, thanks for pimping us out. Glad to hear you liked the Oskar Blues. Still weird that this good a beer comes in a can. Rick has moved to the mecca of the US for beers = great stuff like Oskar Blues everyday. Which pisses me off to no end, cause I’m still here in Memphis getting jack for selection. But while we’re on the subject, welcome to tax hell. It’s been lonely here, being the state with the HIGHEST tax in the U.S. for beer. Glad you can join us. Our luxury tax, added on to beer, is 16%. So bend over and take it like men. But at least it isn’t waved in our faces like you guys. Spoon, keep up the rants. Somebody’s got to speak out against these knuckle-dragging ‘tards that are given licenses to drive giant trucks. Great show, keep it up!
Great concept for a podcast. Can I subscribe to this on iTunes?
Hey guys, another kick ass show. I’m a mellow guy, not many things piss me off, but a fuckin’ drink tax? It’s the perfect time to get back into homebrewing
Thanks BFH! I swear to god we have some real morons on the road here. Unfortunately they also drive expensive cars. I’m seeing a relation here!
Absolutely can Julia!
You can either go to itpc://feeds.feedburner.com/shouldidrinkthat or search for Should I Drink That? on itunes.
Tiki, drink tax causes us great anger. I hope this ends soon.
Guys, Congrats on the writing gig! I have a couple strikes against me with yinz, as i drink Iron City most of the time and I’m from closer to town than Cranberry. That being said I am deployed to Iraq with the Army and you guys rocked on the last two shows! I’ve been the guy in the car Spoon (when you got pissed) and I was very interested in the home brewing aspect of the show….it would be cool if your column went down that path a little. Sick Pup…George Jones (The Possum) is the Man, especially if you’re half in the bag or pissed of at your squeeze. You guys are doing great, and educating people as you go…I actually want to go drink a beer and notice my pallete?? Check out my show if you can stand the Yinzers.. http://www.burghseyeview.com
HUTCH! how’s it goin brotha! Stay safe over there buddy!
