Episode 30 – Smack Your Elf Up

Just listened to Ep. 30 and enjoyed it. Thanks for the ‘shout out’ and for picking up on my “Chillada Challenge”. Nice of you to review the “Elf” series, since I’d not had any of them myself. Of course, if I spy a new beer and I want to get some background on it, I always give it a quick check at the BeerAdvocate.com site, since you can find reviews for even the most mundane and obscure brews there.

Lookin’ forward to a good 2008 for SIDT, as well as for craft brew lovers everywhere. Hope to catch up with you guys April 19th at the next BrewErie MicroBrew Fest.

OK, I tried 3 of these over the weekend and they all sucked. Bad Elf, Insanely Bad Elf, and the nut brown. All crap. This is a case of great marketing and bad beer. I was highly disappointed.
