I have every right to bitch about my Buccos because after 14 years of bullshit its deserved. When you see every year the cheap ass ownership screw it’s fans by putting a lack of effort into fielding a decent team you just wanna choke someone. I see this because I live in Pittsburgh so I’m up on all of the news that doesn’t make it nation wide. On paper the Pirates look like a hapless franchise of scrubs. Reality is that once a player is developed the Pirates trade him away for fear of paying him the money and bring in scrub talent.

As for O&A I think what happened to them is bullshit. Banning them for a month on XM goes to show that the advertising of free talking radio is bullshit. The fact that they are still on CBS is what chaps me. so I PAY for your service to have them taken away and yet I can listen on Free FM? I don;t think of them as Stern wannabes because really, once you make a name for yourself everyone else is considered a knock off or wannabe. What i love about the O&A show is that they never have to resort to cheap sex to get listeners. Yeah they drop the F bomb a lot but the content of the show is for the most part really good. This is all bad news for sat. radio in general. Personally i can’t imagine living without XM but their downfall is the same as the dot com bust. They started spending money buying too much high priced talent and now it’s falling apart.

Spoon, quit bitching about your Pirates. You act like the season’s over already. Trust me, when the Dodgers are back in the cellar (in 20 years), you won’t hear me whining about it. I know first hand what a hard pill it is to swallow, but wash it down with some Old Dominion and shut the F up.

Brain Gravy is phenomenal. I love listening to that show. I wish there were more of them.

That whole Opie & Anthony thing is sad, because it’s not the same as what went down with Imus. It’s more promotional-based, I’m afraid. No one’s listening to those two knuckleheads. XM is on the ropes, as is Sirius. So they need the press, and they got it. Unfortunately, when they bring those two bozos back on the air, they’re not going to have any more listeners than they had before. They’re banking on the fact that people who didn’t know who these two morons were will suddenly start listening now that they know they’re controversial. They’re not Howard Stern, and it’s about time they just accept it. From what I hear, Sirius is having a hard time keeping the lights on too.

It’s been a while since you’ve released a show. Glad you’re back. Can’t wait to hear more.
